which symbolizes burial with Christ & resurrection to a new life.

#1 REPENTANCE A complete change of mind, heart & way of life.

FROM WHAT TO WHAT? FROM the works of the flesh (Gal. 5:19-21) TO the works [fruits] of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5: 22-23)

FROM the way that leads to death [perishing] TO the way that leads to

eternal life (Jn. 3: 15-16)

FROM the doctrines[teachings] of men TO the doctrines of God

(Mt. 15:8; Mt. 19:16-19)

FROM SIN [LAWLESSNESS] (I Jn. 3:4) TO righteousness

[being right in Gods sight] (Rom. 6: 16-19)

Repentance was Jesus first public preaching. (Mt. 4:17) and Peters first requirement after receiving the Holy Spirit on Pentecost (Acts 2:38)
