Dear Amber,
The National Society of High School Scholars is hosting an event in
Washington, D.C., to honor and recognize the academic achievement of our
members. You and two guests are cordially invited to attend this
prestigious event--the NSHSS Scholar's Day celebration in the Cannon Caucus
Room of the Cannon House Office Building of the U.S. House of
Representatives in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, May 7, 2005, from 1:30-4:00 p.m.
This grand event ushers in our celebration of National Scholarship
Month and honors our members, scholarship recipients, advisory board,
student council, and Educators of Distinction. You will hear from and meet
Advisory Board Chair Claes Nobel of the Nobel Prize family and William
Conley, the Dean of Admissions from Johns Hopkins University. The Dean
will be discussing issues concerning college admissions and college
success. You will also have the opportunity afterward to network and take
photographs with Mr. Nobel in the Cannon Caucus Room. Please reply by
April 28 if you are able to attend since space is limited. You may bring
up to two guests to this free member event for you and your family.
This will be a great opportunity for you to celebrate your achievements
and to conclude an outstanding school year.

My COMMENTMENT IN LETTER
I Billy Max Acord Do hereby Swear That Which I now put to pen
Is Binding on my life.
I do believe with all my heart with out shame that my lord
and savior Jesus Christ known by many other Titles in all
realms is the great IAM and that he came to this world
fore ordained to do so to die for the sins of the whole world.
HE was born to a virgin lived a perfect life crucified as a per-
fect lamb as the one time for all sacrifice reconciling all
back to the Father. I believe he was laid in a rich mans tomb
and three days later exactly on the time from the Father
was raised from the dead appeared to well over a hundred
witness's he assended to the Father and now sit's on the
right hand of the Father to intercede for the called out
ones . I believe he will return one day also to be the time the
Father in heaven say's and at that time he will rule and reign
over the whole world he will bind satan in a bottomless pit for
1000 years and then will loose satan for a season to confuse
the nations and then satan and all who rebel against god
will be distroyed. then there shall be a new heavens and
new earth of which there shall be no end.
This I declare before all creatures great and small.
As far as my personel life I will try to keep it simple
and try to end the days of my life keeping What paul
declared for us to keep in the whole of romans chapter 12
I believe this to be enough to please the Father in heaven.
Romans chapter 12
Literal
1 I am entreating you, then, brethren, by the pities of God, to
present your bodies a sacrifice, living, holy, well pleasing to
God, your logical divine service,
2 and not to be configured to this eon, but to be transformed
by the renewing of your mind, for you to be testing what is the
will of God, good and well pleasing and perfect.
3 For I am saying, through the grace which is given to me, to
everyone who is among you, not to be overweening, beyond
what your disposition must be, but to be of a sane disposition,
as God parts to each the measure of faith.
4 For even as, in one body, we have many members, yet all the
members have not the same function,

individually members of one another.

the presider, with diligence; the merciful one, with glee.
9 Let love be unfeigned. Abhorring that which is wicked,

fondness, in honor deeming one another first,
11 in diligence not slothful, fervent in spirit, slaving for the
Lord,
12 rejoicing in expectation, enduring affliction, persevering in
prayer,
13 contributing to the needs of the saints, pursuing
hospitality.
14 Bless those who are persecuting you: bless, and do not curse,
15 so as to be rejoicing with those rejoicing, lamenting with
those lamenting.
16 being mutually disposed to one another, not being disposed
to that which is high, but being led away to the humble. Do
not come to pass for prudent with yourselves.
17 To no one render evil for evil, making ideal provision in the
sight of all men,
18 if possible that which comes out from yourselves. Being at
peace with all mankind,
19 you are not avenging yourselves, beloved, but be giving place
to His indignation, for it is written, Mine is vengeance! I will
repay! the Lord is saying.
20 But "If your enemy should be hungering, give him the morsel;
if he should be thirsting, give him to drink, for in doing this
you will be heaping embers of fire on his head."
21 Be not conquered by evil; but conquer evil with good.

Dad, I like this one. I know some people who must have the "worry" gene. They might even have a double portion - if that is possible. The person who wrote this article read out of Matthew 6. I have used Luke 12 also. I have liked to use Luke because he was a doctor and I am sure that he saw what worry can do to the body. I remember when Amber was being tested in kindergarten for that stomach problem. We heard some very scary words coming at us from doctors and we were practicing the "worry" gene. We didn't sleep, we fretted, etc. But you know what? All that worrying didn't make the problem go away and when we did receive the scary diagnosis of what Amber had, we were already soooo tired that we literally collapsed! Now, what if we had just put it all into God's hands and just did what was required of us from Him? We would have still had the bad news, but we would have been spiritually ready for it! So now after all the years of "bad news" we have learned the F.R.O.G method! It means Fully Rely On God! It does truly help during the most darkest hours and it puts everything in perspective. I am not saying that we don't have times that we are not overwhelmed, but when we take a breath and get back on track, life gets more peaceful. Don't get me wrong, the problems can be draining physically and emotionally but we know who the real victor is in all that happens. So as Timothy states, "We do not have the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind." It just doesn't get any better than that!
Well, my sermon is over and I have to get busy!
